Exacq DSP Tools ™
Every Exacq data acquisition board is designed on a DSP-based architecture. In addition to providing performance and accuracy benefits, DSP functionality is also provided, including FFT, Digital Filtering, FIR Filtering.

The Exacq Technologies CH-3160 High Speed Data Acquisition Board was designed to provide superior high-speed functionality and performance at a low price. The CH-3160 utilizes 16 MB of onboard memory (64 MB memory option now available), a local processor and PCI bus mastering to provide absolute glitch-free capture of analog signals of a length limited only by host RAM or Hard Drive size, even with a non-realtime PC operating system like Windows.

With four inputs and excellent dynamic range, the CH-3160 is ideal for communications applications, such as IQ demodulation. With high-speed 40 MS/s capture, RAM and DSP control, the CH-3160 is ideal for high-speed, lossless, sustained data recording. 12 Bit resolution, high-speed precision and flexible triggering options make the board ideal for all high-speed data acquisition applications.

The onboard DSP coprocessor can offload intensive preprocessing steps, such as FFTs and digital filtering, to free the host program for higher-level algorithms and applications.

Multiple Boards in a System: External clock and triggering features allow multiple CH-Series boards to be synchronized in a system.

The CH-3160 is PCI Plug-and-Play, and digitally calibrated, so there are no jumpers or potentiometers to manually adjust.
